San Francisco is a city long regarded as being in the vanguard of campaigning for civil rights, and opposing injustice. It is a very progressive place and when residents of San Fran speak out, others listen.
The Mission District was once heavily populated by Irish immigrants and their descendants. Today it has more of a Latinx flavour. It is a vibrant and exciting neighbourhood. The following piece looks at the creation of a new mural dedicated to Palestine and the ongoing attempts to protect the human rights of the people there who suffer greatly at the hands of Israeli Apartheid and their associated policies of ethnic cleansing.
It is heartening to see that there are those in San Francisco who are prepared to draw attention to the plight of the people of Palestine. Rebel Voice applauds them.
