Children Of Yemen – Is There Hope Of Protection For Them Yet?

The continually emerging stories from Yemen are heartbreaking. We constantly hear of Saudi airstrikes on hospitals, schools and residential areas. The children of that land are being slaughtered, and those who survive are severely traumatised. The governments of the West could intervene. The UN could intervene. They issue bland statements to cover their well-padded asses but do nothing of consequence.

The following article provides us with a look at the ways in which the children of Yemen are suffering. It might be seen that when such abuses are allowed to continue, they reflect poorly upon not only those who commit such savagery, but also on those who stand idly by and refuse to take part. Two adages for you:

“The only thing you get from sitting on the fence, is splinters up your arse” – A.D.

“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” – attributed to Edmund Burke

Are we all damned by inaction?
