Hugo Chavez was an inspirational leader of the oppressed peoples of Latin America. He came from humble origins and never forgot how difficult it was growing up in an impoverished society.

Chavez worked tirelessly to fairly distribute the immense oil wealth that Venezuela has. US administrations tried to topple him, even launching a failed coup, but the people wanted their leader to stay, and stay he did.

Today, the US regime and its lackeys in Venezuela are desperately trying to undo all the good that Hugo did. These Capitalist corporate interests will stop at nothing to gain control of Venezuela’s oil fields. War is imminent as the United States plutocracy plots and schemes to attain its grand theft.

Yet the people of Venezuela remain undaunted. The vision of Hugo Chavez lives on.
