Gerry always maintained he not part of IRA he claims he wants United Ireland but he sits in a free state government in Dublin. He also been elected to Westminster but refused to take his seat not to swear alliance to Queen. He must be confused. His party did sit in Stormont só they recognised the 6 counties independent from 26. Border put up by British in 1921. Civil War broke out in 26 counties anti treaty 32 counties. Pro treaty 26. Pro treaty supported by British. The Church Royal Irish Constabulary.
