Know Your Zionist Enemy – David Lonner, Hollywood Producer

‘When I am in Israel, I feel like a light socket plugged into an energy source. There is a bounce in my step, I feel intellectually and spiritually stimulated. I see in Technicolor.’ So speaks David Lonner, a major Hollywood producer and ardent Zionist.

Lonner is the founder of the Oasis Media Management Group, a management and production company based in Los Angeles. He is an executive producer of the Lifetime series, Devious Maids, and is a board member of the Zionist Friends of Yemin Orde, an Israeli charity that provides a base in Israel for children and teenagers primarily from disadvantaged backgrounds. Of the organisation, Lonner has this to say, ‘“Yemin Orde is not only a unique place in Israel but in the world. By giving children a connection to their roots and a safe and loving place to be educated and nurtured, Yemin Orde has produced exemplary citizens for the state of Israel…’

He goes on to say, ‘When the country airlifted thousands of Ethiopian Jews to Israel, Yemin Orde built grass hut replicas of the homes they had just left to give them comfort. The students who have graduated from there have become generals, Knesset leaders and exemplary citizens of the country representing the best of Israel.’

David Lonner is also a former Chairman of the Entertainment Division of the Jewish Federations which has this to say about its position on Israel, ‘Israel today faces an intensive and increasingly sophisticated assault on its right to exist as a sovereign, democratic Jewish state. On college campuses and within professional and academic associations, in global politics and throughout local communities, instances of delegitimization targeting Israel continue to arise. Sophisticated tactics such as those employed by the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement are increasingly used to spread these anti-Israel messages… In response, the Israel Action Network (IAN), a strategic initiative of JFNA in partnership with the Jewish Council for Public Affairs, educates, organizes and mobilizes the North American Jewish community to counter these acts of delegitimization and to positively shape and lead the conversation about Israel.’

It continues, ‘The Israel Action Network is the go-to source for the latest information, effective messaging, strategies and best practices to counter assaults on Israel’s legitimacy and to undertake affirmative, forward-looking initiatives… IAN draws upon the collective ability of North America’s Jewish Federations and hundreds of small non-federated communities, along with JCPA’s national member agencies and local community relations committees/councils. IAN empowers communities to reach out to Jewish and non-Jewish audiences that are vulnerable to delegitimization messaging and effectively advocate on behalf of Israel.’

The Israel Action Network (IAN) has this to say regarding its approach, ‘IAN is leveraging and maximizing our unique work at the local level for greatest impact on the continental and global stages. The collective ability of JFNA’s 151 Jewish Federations and over 300 small non-federated communities, along with JCPA’s 14 national member agencies and 125 local community relations committees/councils, is central to altering this trend. We are a network countering a network…’

As can be seen, the work of the IAN is not a conspiracy theory, it is a fact. There is today, in both the US and abroad, an orchestrated campaign by a multitude of groups to try to give credibility to the rogue sate of Israel, and in doing so provide cover for the heinous crimes perpetrated by that Zionist entity. David Lonner is to the fore in this campaign.

Lonner states that ‘My roots are in Israel. My late mother, Sassi Lonner, was born in Bat Yam in the early 1940’s. Her fondest memory growing up there was Yom Hatzmaot – Israeli Independence Day 1948. Twenty seven years later, I was a Bar Mitzvah in Jerusalem, joined a teen tour with USY at 16, backpacked through the Sinai with my best friend before college at 18 and studied at Tel Aviv University my junior year of college.’

Lonner was studying the conflict in Palestine under Professor Itamar Rabinovich who went on to become ambassador to the US for Yitzhak Rabin. Lonner declared ‘He was the best professor I ever had and I discovered through his class that when I have passion for something, I excel. That epiphany led me to show business, as besides Israel, there was nothing that I was more passionate about than movies, music and television. After graduation, I packed my bags, moved to Los Angeles and luckily scored a spot in the William Morris training program…’

At William Morris Agency, David Lonner represented names such as J.J. Abrams (Star Trek), Alexander Payne (Sideways), Brad Silberling (Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events), Jon Turteltaub (National Treasure) and Audrey Wells (Under the Tuscan Sun). At that time in his life, he also set up a program in which he brought some Hollywood influencers to Israel. The trips were co-financed by the Jewish Federations who were, and are, inappropriately using the Jewish identity as a shield behind which to hide the war crimes of Israel.

The event-packed five-day itinerary that Lonner offered is said to have included meetings with Israeli artists, high-tech tycoons, soldiers and politicians; a walking tour of historical sites; a helicopter ride across the country; a trip to gay bars (for gay members of the group); and an evening of Torah study at the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies. Many of Lonner’s clients took part in the Zionist excursions, as well as producers such as Nina Jacobson and Donald deLine.

Of note is what the Pardes Institute has to say about its raison d’être. Pardes, which is, at least on face of it, a religious institution, wishes to, ‘Cultivate in its students a life-long love of Jewish learning, the Jewish people and Israel, inspiring them to engage in Jewish life, as communal leaders, educators, and spiritual leaders.’ Yet again, we see the constant tying of the Jewish faith, and identity, to the Zionist state of Israel. It is a ploy strongly promoted at every opportunity and allied to spurious charges of anti-Semitism and Holocaust denial against any who might question the destructive actions of the Israeli regime. Those who differentiate between the Jewish identity and the Jewish Zionist identity also come in for such aggressive attack.

In a blatant admission of his Zionist intent, Lonner had this to say about his grubby scheme to attract Hollywood’s elite to Israel, ‘In 2006, post Lebanon War, there was little interest from the entertainment community to travel to Israel and I felt an urgency to connect the two passions of my life by putting together my own version of Birthright Israel for the tastemakers and influencers of the Hollywood community. It was a simple plan: bring important artists and executives who build the critical mass in Hollywood to Israel. Just get them there and they will fall in love. I am thrilled to see that today, the connection between Israel and Hollywood has never been stronger.’

The above quote is telling in its transparency. Hollywood is heavily influenced by Zionism and is controlled by them in many ways, due to the fanatical efforts of those like David Lonner.

In 2014, as the Israeli war machine was slaughtering thousands of Palestinians in Gaza during Operation Protective Edge, the Zionist group inapporpriately labelled Creative Community For Peace (CCFP) publicized a pro-Israeli letter which was signed by 187 actors, directors, writers, agents, executives and other Hollywood bigwigs. The letter was the idea of David Lonner who became a representative for the group. Lonner told Deadline Hollywood, ‘There’s been a lot of confusion in the media of what’s actually going in the Gaza Strip, but for those of who go to Israel, it’s not complicated at all. So, there’s been a feeling for a while now of how to get a message across and un-complicate matters, and we think this is a step in the right direction.’

Of course the letter, which was promoted by the likes of Minnie Driver, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, Kelsey Grammer, Sarah Silverman and Seth Rogen, omitted any mention of Israeli brutality, oppression, land theft, Apartheid and the incessant murder of Palestinian civilians by Israeli military and paramilitary forces.

David Lonner, in his support for the rogue state of Israel, is a real and present danger to the civilian population of Palestine. His instigation of Zionist programs and schemes which ultimately whitewash Israeli war crimes are assisting that artificial political entity in a continuation of its vile activities.

He states, ‘I travel to Israel as much as I can to connect to my past and to see my future… For me, going to Israel is going to the Fortress of Solitude for Jedi training.’

He likes to mix his metaphors, does David Lonner. Allow Rebel Voice to respond in kind.

Israel is no Fortress of Solitude just as Lonner is no Superman. Nor is he fit to wash a Jedi’s dirty underwear. No; Lonner’s many mangy trips to Israel are more akin to the reprehensible Darth Sidious deciding to take up residency in Mingo City, home to Ming the Merciless (that would therefore make the Israeli government, and its Zionist followers, all Mingers…).

It can now be seen that David Lonner is a worthy addition to the list of Zionist diehards and propagandists in Hollywood who should be boycotted.

  1. It must take quite a bit of research to put together such detailed accounts of the Zionists in Hollywood – otherwise quite concealed from the audience of their works. But it is so necessary to know where these figures (who tend to become idols) come from and what they believe in and promote. At times it may break your heart but ultimately there is nothing more valuable than truth. I would seriously call this much needed ‘education’ in today’s world. Remarkable idea.
