At a time when the leaders and people of the Arab world should be roaring their support for the Palestinian political detainees, there is a marked silence.
The western media have chosen to give little coverage to events in Palestine, perhaps due to the perceived displeasure of their Zionist controllers. Yet better things would be expected of the media of the rest of the world.
The lack of commentary from public figures in support of the brutalized captives of the Israeli regime, is symptomatic of the sickness and apathy that has permeated our planet. We can judge the health of our societies by how they respond to the oppression forced upon the people of Palestine.
Nowhere is this more evident than in the current crisis, and resultant widespread hunger strikes, in the torture centres of Israel.
