Pablo Sáinz-Villegas – Concierto de Aranjuez – Adagio

Here’s a bit of cultural beauty in a musical format. As you will know, Rebel Voice is a very sophisticated media outlet. We play classic tracks that are timeless in their creativity and kindness of heart. Whether it’s The Pogues or Metallica or The Foo Fighters, we take our standards very seriously. With this in mind we bring you a truly inspiring piece of music as performed by Pablo Sáinz-Villegas, who we never heard of before this. It’s a piece by the Spanish composer Joaquín Rodrigo. Guitars are f**king great. It doesn’t matter if the dude holding it is a hairy hallion from the Sperrin Mountains who eats his meat raw, or a fancy-smancy Mediterranean type that makes the girls go OOOOH, it’s the instrument that matters, and in this presentation it is played beautifully.

So, relax and enjoy, and think of expensive finger food and heavy curtains with costly frills draped onto a cherry-wood ballroom floor, as Elizabeth Bennett gets her massive knickers in a twist over that snobby prick Darcy (don’t get fellas like that on the Sperrins).
