When Rebel Voice first saw the photo that accompanies this article, we thought that it was one of those mock-ups that are so prevalent online. It’s not. It’s very real. Elephant Seals truly are that huge. Usually, these massive creatures are to be seen lounging on beaches with their own kind, grunting and shagging and fighting, often at the same time – much like an Irish pub in the Med. It can be difficult to gain a proper perspective of their size from this. However, when we see them close to a standard car, we come to better understand that they are monsters. It’s easy to see why a Polar Bear would want one for dinner.
