The Young Ones is a blast from the past for many. At one time it was mandatory viewing for teenagers and young adults (and a few adult subversives). The raucous energy is not for everyone and Rebel Voice wonders what the youth of today would make of this type of program. Vyvyan was the most violent of the four housemates. His unfettered aggression is the stuff of eighties’ legends and his four letter ripostes could be heard bouncing along the school corridors of the time.
