Rebel Voice was at the game in Croker when Graham Geraghty got done. He was stretchered off. The Irish team that day lay down and allowed the Aussies to walk over them. Many Irish spectators, this author included, left early in disgust at the lack of fire in the bellies of the Irish team on a day when Kieran McGeeney was captain.
Perhaps the Irish lads were under orders not to engage on that occasion. Still, they should have said fuck it, and got stuck in anyway. See what you think of the following highlights.
I remember when Rugby Union and Rugby League was like this. Aussie rules was not at all. Bring back the biff!
