This is something slightly different. Rebel Voice has provided a selection of bluegrass music and videos for your viewing and listening pleasure. Some of the tunes may be recognizable as they have been used in various TV shows and movies.

The first up contains one of the most laughable entrances ever made in a music video. In it we have a Finnish bluegrass band who do a version of the AC/DC classic, Thunderstruck. The lads really go all out in trying to appear as a stereotypical bunch of hilly billys. Finns must be mental.

I imagine the people of the Appalachians would be slightly pissed off at the representation here. Still, the music is hopping and branches briefly into cultural Jewish music before flying back into bluegrass. It’s a good version and I can imagine everyone getting shitfaced on poitín, or moonshine as our North Americans cousins call it, and then dancing until your legs fall off…
