It is patently clear that the neo-cons of the US are moving their right-wing pieces across the board of Latin America. By shoring up their relations with the fascists that exist within those societies, they will hope to better position themselves for an eventual assault on, first Venezuela, and then any other nation that opposes their violent capitalist greed.

Humanitarians across the region, and the world, must stand strong in face of such right-wing adversity. If Trump and his Surplass cronies succeed, it will sound the death-knell for equality, opportunity and decent society in Latin America, as well as further across the globe.

As Venezuela is under threat, we are all under threat.
