As beautiful as nature is, it can also be brutal. The hunter and the hunted. Herbivore and carnivore. We humans can have a problem with it all. Who wants to see cute chicks eaten by vicious hyenas? Researchers do. Baby hyenas do. Conservationists do. The following vid might not show such a scene. But it might. Don’t underestimate the largest bird on the planet though. They’re descended from dinosaurs after all. Look at what happens when a hyena tries to eat some ostrich chicks.
