Let’s get this straight. The new cities, towns and villages in East Jerusalem, the West Bank and the Golan Heights that have been built for Zionists are illegal under international law. They are referred to as ‘Settlements’ by the MSM. But that is being too kind. They are ‘Squats’ containing squatters upon the land of others. That’s the truth. Currently, there are approximately 800,000 of these squatters on occupied Palestinian territory.

This morning, I listened to an Irish radio interview where the Israeli ambassador to the southern Irish state, Ophir Kariv – who was a soldier in the Israeli military – tried to make excuses for the slaughter of civilians in Gaza by the IOF. He blamed Hamas for the fact that Israeli snipers deliberately shot children dead and blew the legs off others. Also of note was Kariv’s assertion that the occupied territories were a land in dispute. He repeatedly refused to acknowledge that the Zionists ensconced there were illegal in any way. In effect, during his greasy monologue, he was admitting that the official position of the Israeli regime is that all of Palestine belongs to Israel.

With this tacit admission by an Israeli official in mind, Rebel Voice asks what sort of negotiations the people of Palestine can expect in terms of deciding their future?

The immoral, unprincipled, unscrupulous and illegal position of the Israeli regime is strengthened by the conduct of the international media and corporate interests. When such bodies ignore the injustice that is Israel, or when they misrepresent or attempt to mitigate the brutal actions of Israel, then they too are complicit in those crimes.

If a newspaper refuses to tell the truth about the killing of civilians in Gaza, then that newspaper and its staff must be held accountable. If a corporation does business in the illegal squats, then that corporation and its owners must be held accountable. If a government refuses to act, when they are able to do so, in defence of the rights and lives of the people of Palestine, then that government must be held accountable.

The US Empire has a sizeable role to play in this matter. They are the primary backers of the Israeli regime, a regime that has been and is guilty of both war crimes and crimes against humanity. The EU must also take responsibility for its failures to bring the Israeli regime to account. When some corporations, such as Airbnb, decide to stop doing business in the Occupied Territories, they then come under intense pressure from the US Empire. This forces them to change their position and subsequently renege on their humanitarian commitments. That must be unacceptable to all right-minded citizens.

Government intimidation of companies, who wish to pursue a path dedicated to enforcing human rights, is fascism. The US can now rightly be regarded as a fascist state, as is Israel. But they have good propaganda. Then again, so did the Nazis in the early days.

The following article takes a look at some of the travel corporations who support the war crimes, and crimes against humanity, as perpetrated by the rogue state of Israel. They do this by providing cover for Israel in portraying it as a normal place for tourists to visit. It’s not. Such corporations must be held accountable.
