This is a stomping classic not heard near enough these days. So get the whiskey down from the cupboard, get yourself a beer chaser, turn Georgie up to the max, and shake your head vigorously as you let the music take over. Then feel slightly embarrassed after the song ends and you’re in an empty kitchen with alcohol spilt all over the floor and you realize that you’re not nineteen any more cause you pulled a muscle as you bopped around the table and your children are standing at the door wondering why their father is acting crazy… again.
George Thorogood – One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer [rock]

George Thorogood’s version is my favorite. It’s on my ski playlist and always improves my turns when it comes on. I did not know the backstory of the song and had never heard of Rudy Toombs .
