Don McLean has a singularly beautiful voice and accompanies it with some fine guitar playing. In his version of the Irish standard, Mountains of Mourne, McLean’s signature riffs can be heard. He has changed the lyrics a tad in this, but perhaps the adjustments are better than the original. Sacrilege, I know, but there you have it.
