This is a poignant way to remember all the Palestinian victims of Israeli death squads over the last 10 years. 4500 pairs of shoes were laid out, one pair for each victim, in front of the Council of the European Union in Brussels. The EU is Israel’s largest trading partner. The rogue Zionist state relies heavily upon European largesse. Citizens across Europe are increasingly calling for strong sanctions against Israel because of its appalling humanitarian rights record. Perhaps soon, their calls will be heeded.

The images of so many shoes has a profound resonance with the victims of the Holocaust. The irony of this will surely not be lost on anyone.
