This is one of the best known animal rivalries around. Many stories have been written about the mongoose and the cobra. In this clip, we can see how they do battle. Note how intense the mongoose is when moving on the cobra. It’s to be expected as the mammal’s life depends upon not getting bitten. However, the focus evident in the eyes of the mongoose is impressive, especially during the scene when the small creature is facing the camera. Perhaps, as mammals ourselves, we sympathize with other warm-blooded animals. Rebel Voice wonders if that carries through all inter-species battles. Lions and crocodiles? Capybara and anaconda? Orca and Great White? Maybe Homo Sapiens are a naturally biased species! That said, it can be pondered as to how many of us would oppose a pack of wolves if they were trying to devour Donald Trump…
