Nakba Day Explained

The Nakba (Catastrophe) is the name given to the expulsion of 750,000 Palestinians from their homes in western Palestine, by Zionist forces made up of mostly Europeans. The indigenous refugees sought sanctuary in the nations surrounding Palestine as the state of Israel was eventually founded. Today, those refugees and their families seek to return to their homes. Israel will not allow them.
