Marley’s contribution to music is still underrated. However, it was his political statements in the album Survival that probably influenced me. The potent combination of politics and music is a must for anyone who likes reggae…. And meaningful, relevant lyrics.

Sadly, I don’t see the same political involvement in today’s music. Manufactured pop just doesn’t hit those buttons.
