The ancient civilizations of the pre-Hispanic Americas are fascinating. There is still so much that is to be learned about them. Rebel Voice sees a rising awareness among the people of those continents, in which they are beginning to more fully embrace their inherited American identity, separate from the European introduced one.

It is not total, but nascent and to be welcomed. Diversity is what makes life interesting. Of course, the powers-that-be do not want to see such differences, as a homogeneous, global society is more easy to dictate to, more easy to corral, to manipulate and control. That’s why it’s so important to embrace all of the positive aspects of our diversity. Better understanding ancient American culture and society is but one means of achieving that. Just don’t run out and start cutting people’s hearts out to appease your deities, that’s just not nice.
