That’s a brilliant first photo in this article. So far as the Irish go, there seems to be a very strong affinity with the Palestinians, even so far as top politicians publicly criticising the Israeli regime. The grass roots support doesn’t seem as if it’s under the spell of pro Zionist infiltrators like many other groups around the world seem to be infected. It must be the fearless nature of the Irish that won’t allow themselves to be cowed by bogus accusations of anti semitism.

Kind words for we Irish. There is a lot of very determined support, especially among Republicans, probably because of our colonial past (and present). Sadly, we also have devious fascists and conservatives wrapped in a cloak of specious liberalism too. They usually end up in government and haven’t yet officially recognized the State of Palestine. However, rumors are that that may change before the summer parliamentary recess. We live in hope.
